Meet the Pastor and his Family

Lee McNeill is the Pastor of Rural Point Baptist Church.  His passion for preaching and his people are very evident. He has a great vision for the church and is leading it to the next level. He can best be described as an enthusiastic, Bible-believing preacher with a message for this needy hour. His expositional, systematical approach to preaching the Bible has proven to be very productive in the culture in which we live.

Saved at the age of 12, Lee began to travel with his family, the McNeill Family, all across this country spreading the gospel in Evangelism. After 5 years on the road, Lee’s father became pastor in Lumberton, NC, where Lee began singing bass for a local Quartet, the Lumber River Quartet. Lee sang full-time for 3 years, where he fell in love with his wife Brittney.  At the age of 27, Lee surrendered to preach the word of God. He served with his father, David McNeill, for many years as song leader and College/Career Sunday School teacher.

He was called to be our Pastor on August 21, 2016 and preached his first sermon as the pastor of Rural Point Baptist on August 28, 2016.  His responsibilities include the preaching duties of the church, the management of the ministries offered by the church, communication and counseling with church members, planning for ministry outreach, as well as the planning of special outreach events.

Lee and his wife Brittney were married on Sept 2008. They have two daughters. They reside in Mechanicsville, Va.
